lighting for your covered poarch

think for a moment... do you want to save money and see where you are going? Do you really need outdoor ceiling fans when you have a constant breeze? super cheep and visually easily dismissed, industrial outdoor lights. with the money saved you can add the real extra bling with your front door.

update on that vintage dining room light fixture

it is hard to visualize what a thrift find will look like when updating your home, but that one interesting find can bring out something extraordinary into the room.

master bathroom double sink

I found a interesting double sink at the local habitat for humanity resale store, it has lovely marble look with seashell sinks. This beauty was only $40 (no picture before) and had our cabinet maker ready to build solid wood cabinets for the master bathroom. Sometimes we buy things and it dose not work as expected. Turned out the double sink was too big by 6 inches for the area. and cutting off 3 inches from each side was not an option as it would put the sink bowls way too close to the walls. So we designed a double vanity, cutting out the center of the sink base and adding pullout basket shelving in the center. We also utilized our brass hardware pulls to give a little bling.
